What is L'Sota? L'Sota is a true upscale swing club that was founded in the Spring of 1989. Since that time L'Sota has offered discreet, safe, fun and secure settings where adult couples and adult single females as well as adult couple females meet, mingle, dance have fun and even "play" with other like-minded adults. L'Sota is a "not for profit" club where the memberships as well as fees associated with attending a function goes directly to pay the costs of the motel/hotel ballroom/Hospitality suite and Group suites. In mid-2009 L'Sota implemented changes and improvements focusing on: 1.) Restructuring memberships which includes catering and reaching out to those not only in Illinois and Iowa and but also the surrounding states. 2.) Aimed at a membership of quality couples and single females vs. quantity of those attending. 3.) Revamped membership paperwork. 4.) Reduced the number of co-hosts thus refining the operations of the club. These and many other subtle changes have been successfully implemented and completed at L'Sota. As we are into a new decade, additional progressive changes will be and are being implemented at L'Sota. Since making many positive modifications and improvements to L'Sota in late 2009 through 2010, we've experienced many new quality couples as well as single females from as far away as Canada have joined and attend L'Sota. Couples from the Omaha, Kansas City, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and the Chicago area as well as couples from all over the Midwest have joined and partied at L'Sota. Of course, couples throughout Iowa have joined and partied and played at L'Sota. Secure non - smoking private ballroom, professional DJ's playing your favorite dance music from the 60's through today's top hits and club mixes. All L'Sota Dance Blasts begin at 8:00 pm and concludes at 11:30 pm. The members-only Hospitality and Group Suites opens at midnight for mingling and group party pleasures. All new couples and singles members joining L'Sota must attend a one time pre-event orientation which gets underway at 5:30 pm the evening of the dance.
