Q. Where is Play Nights held?

A. Play Nights is held at an upscale motel/hotel in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area

Q. Are single males permitted to attend?

A. No, only couples and single females are admitted.

Q. How many couples attend Play Nights?

A. Play Nights is Limited to 5 couples OR for an example 4 couples and 2 single females, 3 couples and 4 single females. We also have a "waiting list" in the event we have a cancellation of a couple or single gal. Some Play Nights may have 3 couples other Play Nights all positions are full. If you're a new couple small groups such as a group of 3 or 4, is a great place to start.

Q. Is Play Nights an orgy?

A. Yes, it is. You are still able to say "No Thank You" which of course means "NO Thank You" reference doing anything with another couple or single female or having them do anything with you.

Q. What if we don't know anyone that will be attending?

A. No problem. At Play Nights you will become very familiar with others that are in attendance quickly. It's a "get naked and play" function.

Q. We think we maybe nervous as we are newer at this, will we be?

A. Most couples and single gals are a little or even "alot" nervous upon arriving, it's more of an anticipation thing for many. Your nervousness will not last long within moments of getting naked you will feel comfortable and relaxed.

Q. We are not sure we are ready for Play Nights, should we come and just check it out?

A. Probably not. Play Nights is for those couples and single women that are extremely secure with their relationship as well as secure with their sexuality.

Q. What if we desire to attend but we don't want to play with others?

A. You might feel out of place, a suggestion would be wait until you are comfortable in a group setting.

Q. We want to attend but I will have to get my partner drunk before she will do this, will this work?

A. It might work for you but sorry, it won't work for us. Anytime you must use alcohol to play, you don't belong at ANY L'Sota function. If either of you aren't 100% sure that you desire to swing with a group, please don't attend.

Q. Do we use condoms at Play Nights?

A. That choice is totally yours. By the time you're truly ready for Play Nights you will have work this issue out.

Q. If it's our rule to use condoms, now what?

A. Then stick with your rules, if you require condoms then please indicate that to the couples that you wish to play with when you are ready to play at Play Nights.

Q. Play Nights sounds like fucking only it this true?

A. You are correct. Play Nights is grass roots swinging. Many like Play Nights as it's a no bull approach to hedonistic pleasures. Your able to come and play for a few hours and leave, no strings.

Q. So are the lights bright when playing begins at Play Nights?

A. No, it's all candle lite, never are the lights turned on. It's a very intimate setting.

Q. May we bring along a cooler?

A. Absolutely bring your cooler and your favorite drinks.

Q. Is it a myth that we should be friends with others first to have sex with them?

A. We would have to say for many the answer is YES! Many couples and single females desire to attend Play Nights and get naked without the need of becoming friends first. Couples and single woman that attend Play Nights do so for the simple reason that they enjoy  hedonistic sex as well as the variety. Let's not forget sex does feel good. Some are not secure enough with their sexuality or their relationships to simply get naked and have sex with others. We suggest those that must be "friend first" fore-go Play Nights.

Q. This sounds interesting, but what happens if we get to Play Nights and determine it's not for us?

A. Then you leave. All that are attending would prefer that you leave rather then to stay and feel uncomfortable.

Q. OK, are there "gross" people that attend?

A. We would like to think not. Hygiene is of paramount importance at Play Nights as Play Nights is geared to total intimacy. You're probably not going to find everyone looking like "Ken & Barbie" dolls. what you'll discover are normal everyday people like yourself. If a couple would attempt to register for Play Nights that in our opinion would not be suitable for Play Nights, they would not be permitted to attend. That is why it's a members only event.

Q. Must we join L'Sota to attend Play Nights?

A. Yes.

Q. It's only $19.95 to attend Play Nights as a couple, why is that?

A. We rent a motel/hotel room inline with the number of couples that are paid to attend. An example; 3 couples x $19.95= 59.95 plus 12% hotel tax (67.15). 5 couples x 19.95= 99.75 plus 12% hotel tax (111.95) which is the average cost of a motel/hotel room. Thus, the couples are splitting expenses for the room. The more couples that attend the more we are able to spend for a room. This is also why we must have your registration 2 days ahead of Play Nights.

Q. So how does L'Sota make money?

A.  We don't. L'Sota never has been a "for profit club". We never have done L'Sota to make money, we simply try to break even. We truly believe in the freedoms as well as the enjoyment of open sexuality a.k.a. swinging.

Q. As a single female, will everyone be all over me?

A. If you're a single female and you are Bi sexual or Bi curious you most likely will receive much attention. But remember, No thanks means No thanks. At anytime you are able to say "No Thanks" and of course you may leave when ever you desire. Respect is a rule at all L'Sota events. Respect for yourself, your partner as well as all others in attendance.

Q. Are there experienced swingers that attend?

A. Yes. Dave as well as Bonnie host Play Nights, they will always be there playing but ready to answer any and all of your questions. Some couples and single gals that attend are veterans of swing others are new.
