| L 'Sota began with a few couples that would get together a few times a year at a "no tell" motel here in Cedar Rapids. That was in 1988 and 1989. The number of couples grew to eight, which was more than could fit comfortably lying down in a motel room. L'Sota is and has always been a true swing club dedicated to the Alternative Lifestyle a.k.a. swinging. |
| The location was then moved in 1990, as the couples
multiplied to twenty. Also, in 1990 the name L'Sota was chosen, L'Sota (Lifestyle of the
adults). In 1990 through 1994 the primary function of L'Sota was to meet, indulge and go
home. In late 1994 the camaraderie and friendships not to mention the sexuality that grew
from L'Sota members was quite evident. Dances began on a quarterly basis. The club grew to
three times what it previously was and continued to expand not only in size but in quality
as well.

| With the continued growth came additional changes, and in
1996 monthly Dance Blast Socials as well as the general on premise parties were
established. L'Sota has always been and shall always be the upscale adult
members only adult swing club with upscale accommodations and functions. You deserve
only the finest. That is what you shall receive at L'Sota.

| As we are well into a new millenium, L'Sota's excellence
continues to grow, not only in the number of couples and single females that attend but
much more importantly the quality of the membership. L'Sota is the
premiere adult only members only social club for all of Iowa.

What is L'Sota |
| L'Sota is an exclusive (which
means you must be a member to attend) private members only alternative adult lifestyle
club that is comprised of couples and "single" females. L'Sota hosts function(s) each month, one Dance Blast Social including a pre-dance orientation as well as one orientation held before each "Play Nights". L'Sota most often takes the summers off to provide the membership with time to do what most do in the summer. As an exclusive members only adult club for open minded adults....... fun, adventurous, excitement and friendships are the rule at L'Sota. Respect as well as "no thank you means no thank you" and L'Sota's no pressure setting makes L'Sota the ideal club for new couples, new single women and a limted number of sponsored single males as well as for the experienced swing couples and experienced single women.
L'Sota is the club for couples and single ladies including a limited number of sponsored single males that have themselves as well as their relationship together, this includes their sexual and emotional maturity. You must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older to become a member and be admitted to any L'Sota function. L'Sota is always welcoming as well as accepting new couples and "single" females as members.
L'Sota is in fact a true swing club. What is swinging?
Definitions: At L'Sota all the above numbers apply however number 3 is actually what we are all about. L'Sota is NOT a drunken get together or a location to play pin the tail on the donkey.

L'Sota's Basic Rules
1. L'Sota provides safe, clean and fun locations where like minded adult couples and single females can party in a no pressure and a no thank you means no thank you environment.
2. You are under absolutely no obligation to do anything with anyone for any reason. You attend L'Sota to enjoy and have a wonderful time.
3. L'Sota is a no tolerance club where any type of illegal drugs are concerned. Absolutely no illegal drugs of any type at any L'Sota function.
4. L'Sota is open to all adult couple, single female as well as a limited number of sponsored single males 21 years of age and older. Absolutely no one under 21 years of age shall be permitted at any L'Sota function.
5. NO thank you means NO thank you!
